"We've been working together from the beginning, it now seems to be taking off". Kelly B.--Globalmuse.com--**(5 Star review)**We don't give these out often so you won't be seeing too many floating around. omnia-music.co.uk I came across Alexa after she submitted her track "Cry for the Last Time" to be featured on our website, and we are incredibly glad she did. Why? Because it's rare that you come across such professional quality music from the underground internet scene. This, quite frankly, deserves chart success. Very in-vogue at the moment, this track features lashings of exquisite Spanish guitars, backed up by a meaty pop drumbeat and subtle, deep, very warm bass to give the musical arrangement a very full and absorbing quality. The melodies themselves alternate between straightforward accompaniment to the vocals (which I will get to in due course), and little swells and falls of acoustic guitar twiddling - the Latin feeling is extremely addictive as always. The winning feature of this piece is, however, the vocal performance. Alexa's singing style sits somewhere at the pinnacle of classy pop, and works very well with the melodic feel of this particular track. The lead vocal line is highly infectious, and I have to applaud the harmonies as well, as they are extremely tight without sounding synthetic (in a similar way to Destiny's Child's harmonies - perfectly layered yet organic sounding). The mixture results in a very classy modern pop tune that will liven up your summer's day and/or lift you out of those winter blues. Highly recommended
