Artist description
The North Sixty is truth rock! Sometimes reminiscent of acoustic artists like Michael Knott and Denison Witmer, other times rocking with a modern rock sound that will remind you of Foo Fighters, Fono, or Goo Goo Dolls. The North Sixty's lyrics offer a hopeful look at life, and intimate looks at the deeper side of daily life. |

Artist History
The North Sixty is the brainchild of singer/songwriter/guitarist Jim McDonald. Formed some time ago in a basement in Kane PA, the North Sixty honed it's truth rock sound and began playing anywhere that would let them in. After quickly gaining a local following, the North Sixty was discovered and signed by Buffalo NY's 1340 Records. Their first full length CD "For a Moment I Saw Clearly" was released on 1340 records April 10, 2001. |
