Artist History Way back in 1996 three publix employees decided to revolt against the opressive manager, Norman Jones. What resulted was the world famous Lurch and Gumbolaya. After two #1 singles, Chinese Food and Milk Sucks, and the resulting world tour, the band parted ways to pursue other interests. Fat Bastard went to college, Lurch went to work and Gumbolaya got drunk. A few years later in early 2001 the original members were reunited when viscious hick an elusive ex-marine/ex-con was looking for people to join his new lynyrd skynyrd cover band. From the first chord of Sweet Home Alabama the four knew it was time for the Lurch Reuinion Tour. Realizing that noone would ever remember the name Lurch & Gumbolaya & Viscious Hick they decided to drop Gumbolaya from the name. Ever since the band has been an unstopable force in the fight against meaningful and well written music
