    Artist History
Fallen Angel began in May 2001. It started as a 4-piece with Chris Alas (vocals), Matt Castle (guitar), Dean Adjukovic (bass), and Adam Castle (drums). Only two weeks after forming, the band began playing local South Bay punk shows. About a month later, Rollie joined as a second guitarist and the band started writing new and re-writing old songs. They continued to write and went on to record their first demo in Rollie's bedroom a.k.a. “Tuff Guy studios”. The band played a few more local shows in the summer of 2001. In the fall of 2001, Fallen Angel had a “last show” at a show at club Lush in Santa Monica. After which vocalist Chris Alas and bassist Dean Adjukovic (now drummer and singer respectively for Dreaming of a Better Day). In late October, Robby Haight joined as the new vocalist and Matt Morian (a.k.a. Tex) joined as the new bassist. Fallen Angel began writing new more developed than the songs heard on the first demo. The second demo was soon self-recorded at Tuff Guy studios, and was released in mid November 2001. At the first show with the new lineup, a house party with death rockers As Hope Dies and other local bands, the crowd reaction was awesome. The demo has gotten a great response, landing Fallen Angel bigger, better shows in La and OC and a record deal with Kill Your Image records. During the winter and spring of 2002, Fallen Angel wrote and recorded some more new material for their first release on Kill Your Image records. Unfortunately, in early summer bassist Matt (Tex) Morian moved back to his homeland, and Derek Celela, former guitarist for 21 Guns, joined as the new bassist. Presently, Fallen Angel is working on more new material and playing shows a few times a month.
