Artist description Double Sided is a Melodic Punk/Hardcore band straight out of Orange County California. Having been a band for more than 3 years and played an uncountable number of shows, Double Sided has gone a long way to secure their place in the hearts of OC Fans of Punk and Hardcore music. With an attitude towards music that mirrors their own personalities, they don't take themselves or their music too seriously, but their songs have genuine, emotive lyrics and technical, but not overly flashy music. With a sound that cannot easily be described with a comparison to any one band or any combination of bands, Double Sided simply tries to write songs that combine elements of all their favorite styles of music. Their songs combine the speed and attitude of punk, intense hardcore breaks, deep metal guitar parts, and powerfully emotional lyrics with catchy vocal hooks. With each new song, they come one step closer to a perfect musical combination to satisfy all their varying musical tastes. Double Sided does not claim to be, or even try to be revolutionary or try to change the world with their music, but in no way can they be called generic. They simply play the music they want to play with the kind of abandon that has been lacking in the independent music scene in recent years. They have developed a unique bond with one another in the years since their inception and through that unity and a large drive to advance their music has developed. Double Sided is currently looking for a new record label to release their material, and they are also currently planning several small road trips and a few tours. Double Sided is a band that is going to start to become increasingly common in the indie music scene.
