Interesting for lack of a better word. One thing for sure though is the decisive dance element to this track, produced by one DJ Foosh. I have never encountered this name before, but from the sound of it he certainly knows what he's doing. Reincarnation is a catchy, well-produced number that stays true to many dance conventions whilst maintaining an air of uniqueness. This creativeness is not only conveyed in the interesting fluctuating vibe of the synths and FX - but also in Dorothy's voice and lyrical content, which has the same tone and feel to it as the music contained in Madonna's 1998 album Ray of Light. Sort of a modern dance hippie-chick image, as critics described Madonna's change for that album, which is replicated perfectly with Reincarnation. This familiar territory helps the track a great deal in my opinion, without detracting from its own amiable personality. At the end of the day, Dorothy has a good voice and a knack for singing upbeat peppy numbers, and I think DJ Foosh captured her perfectly with this song. The vocals are however noticeably over-reliant on reverb for effectiveness, but this too does not yet detract from the vibe I get listening to this. Charisma wise, it has it all, stereo rendering, clear sound, an interesting angle and a catchy chorus. I cannot find much of a fault in *any* of this track... so my advice is give this one a play - some may find it too typical, but its an indication of higher things, I'm guessing that much. "Unconditional Love" like Reincarnation, the other song on her page, is a tune not to be missed. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a real talent on our hands here. There are two elements that plays to this tune's favour; not only does Dorothy have a great voice, but the dance-element has also been superbly produced (by FOOSH). You've got it all, synth, drums and a pumping bass-line, all of which blend together flawlessly in a cocktail of good sound. I know if *I* heard this coming over the speakers at a club/party/whatever I'd be somewhere in the vicinity of the dance floor, if not on it (no laughing, please). There aren't many artists out there on Mp3.com that are this good, and the only negative point I can make is so insignificant that it needn't be said to in any way detract from this track; once again, as was mentioned in the review for "Reincarnation", there is a little bit too much emphasis placed on reverb in the vocals, which could do tweaking down a notch. There really isn't a lot else left to say at this point - keep the tunes coming Dorothy, and may you reach whatever goals you have in mind. Everyone else - get going and give this track your ear for a few minutes; it'll probably like it.
