Artist History What’s the matter, bright00? The story has begun at the mortar house in the wasted land. Chapter 1; The reason why I decided to start playing in the band. One day, I was watching the video, which has be forgotten; I saw Misery's video. Then my mind was hit by it, and some emotion appeared in my brain. So, I wanted to make a band, and I told my friend about my mind, and made him a drummer. He had never played drum, even any other instruments. He liked to play football or ride a motorcycle rather than being a band man. I taught him how to play and made his mind to be a musician stronger. At that time, we were looking for a bass player. We could find bass player easily, because he worked at the factory as same as the drummer's one. He used to listen Sonic youth and Nirvana, stuff like that. Though we knew each other, my favorite was similar to his favorite, when we were talking through music. The beginning of our career, three of everybody in our band was shit about playing. Especially the drummer was not good at playing the drum. A half year past, he has gone. Chapter 2; At the beginning of our band Before the drummer had gone, we used to play "Smells like teen spirits" and "Lithium" and Misery. We were really mad about an Alternative Rock. Surely, I bought 5 or 6CDs in a month. I’ve bin working for spending money to buy CD. I got everything I wanted. Through collecting CDs, I could know a lot of musicians and their relations. At that time, my favorite artists were Goo Goo Dolls, Blur, Soul Asylum, Wilco, Teenage Fun Club, Radiohead, Nirvana, Weezer, Replacements, NOFX, Offspring, Bad Religion. Everyday I spent doing with music, while in a car, in an office, and in a living room….. One day, an explosion occurred in the band. Chapter 3; Withdrawal and the new member Since the drummer had gone, we were empty. The bassist, Osamu bought a drum machine, and made the rhythm part to bring me. Whatever we thought, there wasn’t any hope around us. There was really nothing but music in our mind, then. We decided to find new drummer. We did everything we could do. Searching in the web site, putting the poster on the wall of the guitar shop. One day, I was checking the e-mail, I found one message from stranger. So, we got an appointment to meet each other. First time I saw him, he seemed 18 year-old. His name is Mitchan, He was talking to us with delicate voice and said “Hello.” His favorite was Japanese rock. He hasn’t belonged any bands before. Osamu and I decided to welcome him. And he joined us. Chapter 4; Restart At the beginning, we really enjoyed to have a practice. But we didn’t have a name of the band. We brought a dictionary to find a good name. A hundred of thousand names were there. We knew the band name influence the band image as the only one decision may decide a person’s fate. We chose the “neutral”. Chapter 5; The Gig and the practice We had practices every Sundays. Being the band man was the most important thing in our life. The job wasn’t very important, and girls too. I’ve been saving money for the guitars and the equipments. First gig was in the small coffee shop. We were really exited and strained. When I was in the university, I used playing at the gig, but it was the first time to have the gig for Osamu and Mitchan. Chapter 6; The term be balanced After that we had several gigs, and grew up through these experiences. Making songs, having practices, standing on the stage. Lots of things made us grow up. We had three people in our band, I sang and played the guitar, Osamu played the bass and Mitchan played the drums. We felt something lacking and we needed one more guitarist. Chapter 7; Hideaki Though the numbers which we wanted to play, were not so famous in this country. It wasn’t so easy to find the new guitarist. We did effort to find it through the web site. At last, we could find the good guitarist. His name is Hideaki. He is good at doing computer (he can make computer his own) and his favorite fit ours. And he is good looking. The one thing that I have to tell you is he’s having a lot of time to be free. He can operates the computer very well, and he knows huge information about music industry. The first gig for him was in “Pangere”. He had a lot of songs, which he made; these are punky and poppy, catchy and heavy. His songs made our band’s direction advanced. Chapter 8; Disagreement The withdrawal follows the running the band, as an unknown actor cannot escape from poverty so long as he lives…… Mitchan’s mind was keeping confused to be in our band. He wanted to be a Japanese hard rock drummer. One day, Osamu asked him about his mind, and Mitchan’s answer was “QUIT” Chapter 9; Three pieces, again The drummer in the guitar band is so important. We knew we can not keep running the band without drum player. I made a big decision, it was that I give up to play the guitar on the stage; it meant that I decide to play the drums. Chpater 10; Reform Since I decided to play the drum, the band runs well, I think. A guitarist is Yukiyo, now. She doesn’t play the guitar well, but she’s got a sense. We had a recording, and had a gig. And the ship called “bright00” has left from the port.
