Artist History
APN originated from the old grunge band Ceed, which consisted of Ian Green, Mike Gulotta, Lee Owens, and Chazz. Everyone went there seperate ways, but Ian and Mike stayed friends. Ceed then picked up Myk Deen to play bass, but still no drummer. A few practices were held, but Ceed couldn't hold up, and Ceed died. In 2000, Ian and Myk Deen got really drunk one day and decided to record a few songs onto Myk Deen's computer. They pulled out Myk Deen's acoustic guitar and started singing whatever they felt at the moment. For those few drunken hours, Ian and Myk Deen were free from sobriety and were able to release the tensions from within, giving their first and only CD "Justa Buncha Nonsense" a "real" feeling. A few friends stopped by during the recording, including Lurch, Crazy Lee, Jo-Joe, and Myk Deen's mom. They also recieve a call from Drew-Dawg. (Nobody has a real name in the world of APN). After the CD was released 2 days later, APN went to play a few shows. Thinking about where the band was headed, both decided to change their style from the dark grunge to the style both lived daily: punk. So today, APN is no longer a band, but will forever remain a week in time when Ian and Myk Deen could show their exact feelings to the world, and release them. |
