Artist description Transcending from a psychedelic world of trippy visions and positive vibes, are the three artists who formed the electronic production Seven Tribes. Born under the scorpio zodiac in the late 70s, the band members took their musical and life experiences to start out Seven Tribes, as a way to express themseleves through the project, as a journey into another world of utopia and magic, an escape from reality into a dreamworld! It all started out in their childhood years. Art, poetry and tales, which fulfilled their fantasies and dreams of a world where everything is possible! Society which usually wipes out all this once we mature, and in turn gives us the sour taste of the reality we live in. We all have our own dreams, we all have our own goals in life, but sometimes we are just lost in materialism which seperates us from hapiness of the spirit, and their message is clear, to show the people that the world is not necessarily what is presented to us by society, life is how you make it, and it is all about the will power to change what you feel inside yourself, that can change the way you view things, live life the way you allways wanted it to be, never let go of your dreams. The early 90s had brought a new diversity in the electronic scene, Trance came to light with artists like Dance 2 Trance, Jam & Spoon and Visions of Shiva. These were the initial influences for two of the band members of Seven Tribes. This music which had such a deep feeling that made you wanna get lost in a Tripomatic Fairytale. This was to be the start of their journey. Since then they started spinning trance records. From the shores of Goa in India, a new style of trance evolved. Goa and psychedelic trance were to be the cult and energy, which was to be a heavy influence in Seven Tribes tracks as we know them today. This style of music had origins since the 60s psychedelic rock, hippies and travellers have since moved on to Goa. In the early 90s, a new wave of sound energy evolved through analog synths.Experimentation in psychedelic sounds and the strong energy incented by the culture and religion of the place, gave this music such deep meaning, that it was now considered to be a way of life, more than just any other music style, which so commonly looses its vibe after a couple of years or even months. After meeting up with people involved in the scene, and after experiencing the psychedelic energy from events that took place in other countries, they then decided to start out Seven Tribes as the project to express themselves, and to give out the strong message of life, which is so evident in each of their tracks. After years of extensive work, they finally completed the two production studios which gave us Seven Energies – One Tribe, which was to be their first debut album. Their music even though being mainly instrumental, gives us concepts of freedom of spirit, unity and energy we create on the dancefloor, finding hapiness in leading simple lives, uplifted from the conformities of society, love towards our brothers and sisters, respect towards creation and elements which surround us, dreamworlds and twisted mushroom dimensions. This is their way of life, this is where they have found their hapiness, and they spread their message through their music and their themes, which are so extensively explained in their www.seventribes.net site. The next upcoming album Positive Vibes shall be released later on this year. Seven Tribes shall reinvent themselves after introducing a classical trained guitarist in the production, who will be the asset for their live events and allso aid towards a vaster experimentation in their music. As well as work with various session musicians, so as to give a more profound diversity in their style.
