Artist History Rob and Eshinee were introduced by Dan Klaue (/artists/91/daniel_klaue.html) who had been producing Eshinee's band The Hired Idlers (/artists/55/the_hired_idlers.html) and Rob's band Mr.E (/artists/27/mre.html). Rob and Eshinee became huge fans of each other. Soon after Eshinee sat in on the recording of the Mr.E album "Good Morning," the two formed their own band. They got married too. The first half of their self-titled debut album features songs they wrote for each other during their courtship (aw, isn't that cute?). The second half is their arrangements of the hymns featured at the wedding. Originally intended as "party favors" at the reception, the album has proved popular enough that we've posted it here for people who want a copy for themselves. Their second album--Flying Airplane--is a more complete, unified work. Acoustic-guitar driven, though often with beats inspired by house music as much as singer-songwriter fare--yeah, music that makes you think and sometimes makes you dance too--the songs are evenly split between Eshinee's compositions and Rob's compositions.
