Artist History
MIDGARD was formed in March 2000 with the intention of pushing the boundaries of metal music. Taking diverse influences such as In Flames, Paradise Lost, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, and others, MIDGARD set out to create an original, catchy, and highly energetic sound. In July 2001, MIDGARD's debut EP "Within The Darkness" was released. Brutally heavy and extremely melodic at the same time, the album set the course for MIDGARD's style. A record deal is currently being sought while new material is being worked on, promising to take the band's sound to the next level while staying true to MIDGARD's own unique style. |
