Artist description These piano compositions, augmented by drums, fretless bass, sax, guitar, oboe, English horn and flute, were inspired by the beauty of the North Olympic Peninsula, where Jeremy has lived all of his life, and by the Creator, God, to whom he attributes his gift in music. Several professional musicians were involved including Narada Recording Artist, Nancy Rumbel, a nationally acclaimed oboe/English horn player.

Artist History Jeremy Cays, 20, is an exceptional artist from Sequim, Washington. A New Journey, his first CD release, is a compilation of music which he composed several years ago. Jeremy started the recording at age 13. He spent three years on this CD. He is currently working on a new recording project, which will be released by Pure and Simple Music, a successful Washington State record label. This recording will feature the piano, which will be accompanied by strings and woodwinds. He hopes to have that project completed by the end of this summer. He has also planned to do a Christmas CD with guitarist, Randy George, for Christmas 2001. Jeremy is currently finishing his second year at college, working on his AA degree. Later, he plans on transferring to the University of Washington, where we will major in composition and orchestration. ! After college, Jeremy plans on pursuing a career in film scoring, along with more recording and performing.
