Artist History CoCo Emerge...... Born in Detroit, Michigan, Coco Emerge began singing at an early age in her neighborhood church choir. Saturday evening practice and Sunday morning performances gave Emerge the motivation she needed to impress family and friends with her talent. At the age of 11, Emerge began to participate in local talent shows for schools. In sixth grade, she earned second place for performing a duet with a friend. Emerge was inspired to sing from that point on. Now, at 19, Emerge is making her way into the music industry. "Music is a part of my life now, and there's nothing I like to do more than sing", says Emerge confidentially. She now resides in Detroit with her 23-month-old daughter, DahVionne Iyanna.
