Artist description
A Band Called Horse, from Denver Colorado, frontman Uncle Nasty from KBPI 106.7 FM has been #1 on the radio arbitron ratings in three major markets; San Jose, CA at KSJO, Salt Lake City at KBER, and now back in Denver where he is #1 again. Featuring band members from the some of the most popular groups in Colorado over the past decade A Band Called Horse has the engine of a finely tuned machine. The band members include Doug Tackett on bass, Steve Patt on drums and Donnie Crisp on guitar and fronted by Uncle Nasty on vocals. The band music is an original blend of sounds influenced by Black Sabbath, Def Tones, and Henry Rollins, a heavy band with quality tone and an energetic stage presence. In 1999, A Band Called Horse has shared the bill with the Cult at the Fillmore Auditorium and with Kid Rock and Loudmouth at Fiddler's Green Amphitheater in Denver to a sold out crowd of 17,000. |
