    Artist description
Vulgarity, obnoxiousness, rudeness, blunt, etc. These are the finer qualities of the man they call The Stoned Ranger. He is undenialably the ulitmate form of vulgarity. Cursing and swearing any chance he gets, Ranger has fun in his own little way. The Ranger has battled many enemies and made lots of friends as well. From his shows emerged the glorification of intoxiacation. The thought of being Stoned 24-7 appealed to many people. His shows gave a reason to get stoned and enjoy yourself. Sometimes playing the caring good guy, or otherwise the straight up asshole, Ranger has always been a very odd character. Very hard to read and make a guess to what he is going to do or say next. He has said anything to anybody. Everything about everybody. Noone is safe when SFR lurks.
    Artist History
Strictline Entertainment was formed in August of 1997 by Michael J Casaccio, who holds an Associate in the Arts degree and has taken many courses in speech, theatre, media, television, and improvasation. It was formed solely on the premise on one character, "The Stoned Ranger." Ranger is the person who is the assasin to all those who have problems with society but his attacks on the way things are preluded by foul language, insane suggestions, and revolutionary tactics that do not harm anyone. The Stoned Ranger first was based solely on independent recordings that never hit the market. In August of 1997, Ranger made his first public appearance in Elk Grove Village and a friend's house bringing on music and his ways. He called the show "Debut Session." People found it funny but did not take it too seriously that this "movement" was going anywhere. In 1998, Casaccio joined WHCM radio in Palatine gaining some radio exposure. Although the station was not FM, it still was broadcast throughout campus. It wasn't until the Fall semester that the Ranger made his debut on WHCM radio creating the "Strictline on WHCM." This was a radio show in shock jock format. Shortly before that, Strictline Entertainment went into greater depths by booking bands to make appearances at live shows. With Ranger hosting the show bringing on the insanity, the bands would play to their fans and also finding new fans as well. On May 19, 1998, with the help of Jason Harsem and Rick Palenek, Night of the Defecation, the first Ranger show that featured bands (Green Thumb, South of Eden, and Chris Calesini freakout session) hit the Filler Residence again. Casaccio and Palenek built a stage using cheap lighting and went on from there. The idea worked well and Casaccio produced two more shows in the backyard of the Filler's. During that period, Palenek helped Casaccio build a website, which has changed 3 times since it's initial construction by Casaccio self teaching himself hypertext markup language(HTML) which is essential for web site construction. When October of 1998 came, some things happened that would become unprecinated. In October of 1998, "Trip or Treat" took place at the Elk Grove VFW. This featured Russ Adams, Grindbox, and Subjection. The show was a success, but turmoil started to unfold as Casaccio was fired from WHCM for prank calls, name calling, and bad language. The firing sprung on a heated editorial written by Ranger at the management of the radio station that would almost get himself expelled from Harper College. This prompted the production of another show which went bad. It seemed that the Stoned Ranger was dead, but Casaccio continued to work on his website. Throughout this time, he put himself throughout the world gathering praise and even awards for his site. When May of 1999 came, Casaccio wanted to produce another show. He decided the best place for this would be the Filler Residence again. He was denied because the Fillers felt it would better on the fourth of July. Just before then after talking to someone in Canada who turned him on to a site called Listbot, Casaccio would then start a quarterly newsletter called "The Strictliner on line." He would talk about his accomplishments and failures in great detail. He then produced Chronicfest II, which was a rewarding comeback. He then published Strictliner and then shared the responsibilites of Strictline Entertainment with Andy Bruno, former drummer of Subjection. The union between Bruno and Casaccio producing live shows lasted until January 2000. They produced 3 shows since Chronicfest II, and then Bruno citing creative differences left the project, leaving Casaccio to rebuild on his own. When the year 2000 came, many different things came from Strictline Entertainment. Casaccio was rehired on WHCM and was given two shows a week. Due to a class that Casaccio took with many people, he then produced a cable access show called "SRTV:The Static Experience." He renamed his live booking to "The Strictline" and produced "Freakshow Ltd" with some of the great metal bands in the area. The original lineup for the show was Five Pointe O, Bulkhead, and the Indecisives. However Indecisives dropped making Casaccio feeling hopeless that it was not going to work out again. Yet with the contributions of the bands, Bulkhead bringing in Discord, and Five Pointe O bringing in Veroscene, it got Casaccio on track as he wanted to book more and more shows. The tv show then spawned controversey as cable commisioner Bob Suriano found the show offensive and wanted to have it plugged off the air. His trick did not work as SRTV lives on. With the six month suspension lifted, SRTV is still on the air. Once again Casaccio decided that he would call the shots, not the higher majority. He had his crew members produce the show and then it would air. The show has now been breaking into the mainstream media as interviews with WWF superstats as well as bands Type O Negative, Mudvayne, and Soulfly have all been done. More interviews like this are still to come. Everything looks well for the Obscene Outlaw until due to comments made about him on the website, Criag Johnson, Elk Grove mayor slapped a $100,000 law suit on Casaccio for defamation of character. This is a fight that still is going on now and can make or break the future of the Strictline. In any case, Casaccio still looks to break the barriers of the mainstream with his controversial product. Where he will go from here is unknown and what he does next...stay tuned.
