Artist History
Greetings,
Phase 2 is a four-piece, erupting from a cess pool of jocks, rednecks and junkies, right in the buckle of the bible belt, known as Edmond, Oklahoma. Daniel Eischeid (guitar and vocals), Jason Lauderdale (guitar), Roblee Fredricks (bass, back vocals), and Steven Dixon (drums) combine teenage-angst-ridden lyrics, melodic, harmonizing vocals, hypnotic basslines, and catchy guitar riffs with powerful, driving drum beats to create a new sound, in this terrible onslaught of monotonous repetitive garbage the music industry keeps spewing.
Within just a few weeks of recording some home demos and putting songs on MP3.com, Phase 2 began turning some heads. Daniel Brummel, of the Pasadena band, Ozma, instantly took interest and contacted Daniel Eischeid, saying he'd be interested in producing a studio album for Phase 2. A production company in L.A. asked permission to play their songs on their tv show in Japan, called "Be it!", and they were featured on multiple episodes. More and more people began to find out about Phase 2 over the internet, and downloads began to soar. Soon, they were ahead of many signed artists on the mp3.com charts, such as The Offsprinig, The Deftones, and Green day! All of this was accomplished with sloppy home recordings!
Just wait until Phase 2 hits the studios and gets some record lable attention. Soon you'll see Phase 2 in your town! |
