Artist History from "Lowjack and the constitutional amendment": "...As the story goes [Calilhanna, Gillespie and Arent] were rehearsing regularly in the tattered remains of a chemical mixing plant. On a cold Tuesday night in January, 2000, Lowjack's rehearsal space shook as a nearby building in the complex exploded into flames....The three instrumentalists escaped the scene on foot, watching the billowing cloud of smoke blend with the darkening winter sky... The next morning, after being interviewed by reporters on the scene, Lowjack happened upon Kevin Diehl...lamenting the loss of his childhood playground (he was fond of playing among the toxic waste bins as a boy).
