Press Reviews Wet Dentist The Mylar Sponge CD - arrived December 5, 2001 Wet Dentist is a solo recording by guitarist Jimmy Coli following the breakup of Rong Button in 2000. Although roughly aligned to that mad art- punk combo, The Mylar Sponge is even more wanton in its sonic destruction. Mutant vocals, shattered beats and discordant shards of melody collide and recombine in a relentless cacophony. Determined dancers might find a groove here and there ("Remodel The Gravel" is at once Teutonic and tectonic) but most non-demonic listeners will succumb to migraines before too long.
