Artist History After the break up of their previous band, Koi, Dave (vox + guitar) and Andy (bass + vox) decided it was time to get back to basics and form the kind of band that played the kind of music they wanted to hear. They hooked up with long time friend Craig, a drummer to end all drummers, in early 1998 and began to play a few covers of their old favourites. After a few very low key gigs, it was decided that a second guitarist was needed to fatten up the sound. Enter the spikey live-wire Mike, previously of Glasgow punks Pellet, with his beat up guitars and boundless energy. With their line-up complete, the CherryKicks began cranking it up, slinging it low and waging war on the mundane. Simply put, they are making the rock'n'roll noise they love and enjoying every minute of it!
