Artist description I give all the glory, honor and praise to the Lord. I'm a young man that want to reach the world for Christ. I use the name SMIC(pronouce Smick). It stands for Spiritually Minded In Christ. It comes from the Bible Romans 8:6. I added the in Christ because there are a lot of spirits out there and I wanted everyone to know who I represent, Christ! My theme is spiritually minded because I want life and peace. Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. I want to use every talent and every gift God gave me for His glory. Artist History I started rapping in 1986, I was part of the group known as the TBC (Total Body Control). We made 2 tapes and we was DJ's on the side. In the early nineties I gave my life to the Lord. I stop being a DJ, I stop rapping, I even stoped listening to rap music. I made a clean break with the world.I didn't think that I would ever rap again. In 2000 I ran into my old freind Gentle Lee Powers. He was the founding member of the TBC and he asked me to do a Christian rap CD. After praying about it I felt it was God's will for me to do it. I been through some bad things since I've been saved but through it all I want to praise God and reach people through rap. That's a talent God gave me and I want to use it for His glory.
