Artist History
I am a self-taught musician; born and raised in Arizona. I spent the better part of my youth playing the guitar, bass, and drums in various bands playing a variety of styles of music. My early influences where jazz musicians like Pat Metheny, Lyle Mays, Miles Davis Chuck Mangione, and Michael Brecker. As I ventured through adolescence, my influences succumbed to the darker side of more amplified artists like Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Rush, Yes, Emerson Lake and Palmer, and Genesis. I also discovered my love for harder edged jazz and fusion with artists like Al Di Meola, Jeff Berlin, Bill Bruford, Scott Henderson, T-Lavitz and my all time favorite, Jan Hammer.
I always wanted to be a keyboard player, but never seemed to find a way to learn. Stringed instruments seemed to be more accessible and easy for me to learn. I found to have a strong interest in arranging music or re-arranging existing songs while playing in garage bands. This carried over to my current passion of using the PC to compose and arrange fairly complex pieces of music.
I am involved with creating original score for various film and video production. Please feel free to contact me if you are looking for music for your project.
