Artist description "Synth-Metal" = Heavy "synthetic" music. Instruments played via synthesizers. Vocals enhanced with digital effects and tone processors. Similar to Industrial Metal or Industrial Electronic. Emphasis is on distortion - not only in the music, but also in the image and the visions. It's about personal expression. Synth-Metal is about saying something that needs to be said. All music is written, sequenced, recorded, and produced in the bedroom of my apartment. This is all home-studio stuff. Image plays a huge role, too. I am not striving to be the next shock-rocker like Marilyn Manson. I just embrace the extreme - my own extreme. And I do whatever my impulses tell me to. Artist History Known in 1998 as Jenna X and the sole member of "Red Light Music". Nothing ever got done. My mind was too confused; I didn't really know what I wanted. I scratched Red Light Music and let my studio sit idle for a year and a half. I stepped back into the studio in the fall of 2000 with the new name, "Krystal Blue Productions". The focus was entirely to learn and customize my style. I never recorded anything or let anyone hear my progress. Although I still (and will always) need a lot of work, the summer of 2001 is when I decided I might as well let others listen.
