Artist History
Fluid Power Society reached an impasse in Mid-2001.Two thirds of the band - in the shape of Paul Broome and Natasha Blanco-Dominguez - recreated themselves as 'Pihr'.The desire is to write memorable, moving songs and perform them in a raw, stripped down form, while using the recorded medium to flesh out the instrumentation.
The first album 'Reborn' was recorded between May and December 2001, and self-released in January 2002. It is
available for sale via MP3.COM. Meanwhile, recording on the follow-up, Rival Falls, is well underway.
"Ancient History" Prior to working with Fluid Power Society Paul was a member of highly regarded Goth-Pop combo 'Earth Calling Angela', and
received acclaim for his solo work as 'Monica's Last Prayer'. |
