Artist description
They're post-garage, post-pop, post-emo,
post-everything and nothing all at once.
Sounding like no one and everyone is no
easy task but THE NUEVOS have perfected
the art of being original when it's all been
done before. Maybe it's Kreg's voice? Not
high enough to be labelled whiny-emo, not
rough enough to be Ozzfest, but recalling
a time when you could tell one band from
the other on the radio. Maybe it's the songs?
Scoring a direct hit on the first listen, but
not burning out after 100 spins, they feel
like a warm Lacoste sweater you'd forgotten
in the back of your closet. Maybe it's Kim's
rock star bass show, Matt's seamless guitar
work or Chris' dead-on drumming? Who knows,
but everyone knows THE NUEVOS are special.
So special, it's obvious they've gotta have
some of your attention-so give it to 'em. |
