Artist History LANSTARR is a music composer who was first influence by the concert music he would play in his school's band. After learning to play trumpet at age 9, he started composing music of his own at age 10. He first got into hip hop after hearing early songs by Mobb Deep, including "Survival of the Fittest" and "Shook Ones pt II." When he was an early teen, he got his first keyboard (a then "expensive" casio ctk-750) and started making hip hop music. Since then, he has obtained a variety of other equipment, and has fine tuned his musical style into a mix of classically influenced melodies, dnb influenced drum patternes, and reggae and hip hop influenced bass lines.
