Corky Vaia and I (Dan Orlando) write the songs together, I record and produce them (as owner of Orlando Music Productions [www.orlandomusic.net]), and then we grab a couple of our live-show-playas whenever we play live. |

Artist History
The day I can pinpoint the birth of FiXation 29 is that of August 19th, 1999; the first time Corky Vaia came to play drums for me. The two of us immediately clicked, and although I do a lot of this on my own, without that man, I'd have gotten nowhere. We are the only two original members still going strong because of our uncompromising passion and determination simply to be able to give the gift of music to the masses. |

Press Reviews
Lead vocalist/songwriter Danny Orlando recently took hold of the FiXation 29 project upon the departure of two of the members, which had then appeared to be the end of the road. At only 19 years of age, Danny's high level of achievement is consistently impressive. In January of this year, Danny found himself moving up in the Chicago music scene at an exponential rate as the frontman of FiXation 29. It is evident by this most impressive resume that Danny Orlando has quite a significant future lying ahead in the music and entertainment industry. A cross between Eminem and Ministry, Fixation 29 mixes rapid fire rap lyrics with samples and heavy rock grooves. With excellent flow and great musical programming and performance, this CD has proven itself to have the potential to take on heavyweights like Limp Bizkit and even Kid Rock. With more of a rave style to this music, it truly has its own distinct sound and style. This solo project which is organized and run by Danny Orlando has received high acclaim and is well deserving of it's Elite Artist standing. Music fans who will appreciate this music are those who like the style of Kid Rock, the flow on Eminem, and the heavy grind of Limp Bizkit. Music fans who also like danceable rave style music will find this CD something that definitely grabs their attention. The pretty boy charm of Danny Orlando will allow this music to find it's way into a younger audience, therefor creating a massive following in several different genres. Is this a new movement in modern music? Well, that remains to be seen, but it does have the potential and I believe that it could very well have a definite impact. - Michael Allison, THEGLOBALMUSE.COM |
