Artist History
Ridley McIntyre began songwriting at the tender age of 14. He has written well over 200 songs since then and moved through various bands, including Earth Calling Angela and Burning Dolls. Ridley has also collaborated with many other artists, most notably with Paul Broome providing bass guitar for "The Weir" by Monica's Last Prayer, and lyrics for Fluid Power Society's "Mary's Last Love Song" and "This Lonely Platform". Since then, he has moved from Coventry, UK, to Sunnyside, New York, where he has concentrated more on electronic dance music. Experimenting with new loop software, he released a collection of his more accesible works under his own name on the DAM CD "About Time" found elsewhere on MP3.com. Changing direction slightly to a more edgy, guitar-based sound, Ridley has recorded two albums under the name of darkmonki, and is hoping to return to collaboration. |
