Artist History
Rock-n-roll is once again on the rise and Admiral Twin is at the forefront. This Tulsa-based combo is made up of three singer-songwriters who have been writing and performing together since 1995. To date, they have released three albums and toured across the United States and Canada...building a strong fan base along the way (including playing to over half a million people while on tour with international superstars, Hanson).
Admiral Twin are simply an amazing live act. Unstoppable energy, three part harmonies and infectious melodies are their calling card as they consistently wow audiences with an impressive cannon of music. They were signed to Mojo/Universal Records after their last nationwide tour, and released a CD, Mock Heroic, in 2000. Unfortunately, the label folded shortly after the release of the CD.
Their songs have been featured in the Warner Bros. motion picture The In Crowd and the hit television series Blind Date. Many of the group’s songs have been in rotation in major retail and restaurant chains across the United States including Abercrombie & Fitch, Applebees, The Limited, Home Depot, Pier 1 Imports, Sears, Sunglass Hut, and Hard Rock Café, along with too many others to mention. To top it all off, Admiral Twin’s music has been used in the promotion of video games and websites, and has been included on numerous national and international compilations.
Their CDs have been praised by critics around the world and have entertained a loyal international following of devoted fans for eight years. The band recently released a new 12-song CD, Creatures of Bread & Wine which is already being lauded as their finest work to date. |
