Artist History
A few years ago, some friends got together in a basement as a band. There were five of them. One was on the keyboard, two were on electric guitars, one was on the bass, and the fifth on the drum set. The dream had been dreamt, and "Left on Red" as they were called, were off to being the next Metallica... Or so they thought.
As it goes they started off writing their own stuff, or rather playing the songs that the guitarist had written. They evolved into a four man band losing the keyboard, learned a few covers, and kept practicing. Eventually they got some gigs at parties, a mixer, and played at Bogart’s for the high school band challenge. The guitarist wrote all of the songs on his own, and this was fine for now. Everything was going great...
After a while, three of the four band mates started practicing and writing a different style of music than before. They all contributed to the writing process and the sound that came was much more diverse. It was poppy, it was punky, and it was fun...
Now they play as the trio called "The Bilfs" and love every minute of it. |
