Artist History "With influences from both the jazz, rock, blues and pop arenas, this new artist combines different melodies and musical backgrounds to create songs that are radio-friendly and also have the character to complete a coffee-house setting. After completing a year (99-00) studying Jazz voice at the University of Miami's School of Music, Tawny transferred to Nashville's Belmont University to continue performing her music as a resident of Nashville, Tennessee.
