Artist History The founders of the project "Hi-Fi" were two friends from Novosibirsk: producer and in combination author of the texts - Eric Chanturia and composer Pavel Esenin. The group "Hi-Fi" has appeared on light of August 2, 1998. This day Ksysha, Mitya and Timofey have arrived to St.-Petersburg, on shootings of the debut videoclip on a composition "Ne Dano", which was directed by Alisher and Eric Chanturia. To pleasure of producer of group guys shortly become the real friends! Before shootings the guys were not crossed with each other, even at studio they entered the name in different time. The first performance was held on August 23, 1998 at the large modular concert "Pop Sport Show Soiuz-23", where "Hi-Fi" were accepted as long waited stars! For 21 days after shootings a clip "Hi-Fi" become the present stars! However love of the people "Hi-Fi" have got even before occurrence of a clip, because in the beginning of the summer on radio stations appeared the song "Forgive Me", which at once has become a real hit. And after release of "Ne Dano" the trio "Hi-Fi" have turned to the present national heroes! In the beginning of 1999 "Hi-Fi" have presented the admirers a new clip on a composition "Homeless". After occurrence of this roller "Hi-Fi" have got the status of "mega-stars" in Russia. The first disk of group "The First Contact" was released at February 18, 1999 and soon has achieved records on sales. All waited for new clips on songs from an album, the boon each song was hereby a hit, however following clip, on a composition "Black Raven" has appeared only in August of the 99-th year, before occurrence of an album "Re-production", which has appeared on sale of August 10. After this clip "Hi-Fi" did not give about itself to know till spring 2000, when fortunately of numerous fans of group, the collective released new song "He". Most interesting, that in the text songs is not present hint on a word "He", it is simple when made registration of the collection "Russian Radius-3", on which there was this song the text to "He" was not written down yet and on this procuder and the author of the texts "Hi-Fi" Eric Chanturia has given to a song such name. However pleasure of the admirers from occurrence of this song was worsened by the news that the group "Hi-Fi" is dismissed. Up to the latest moment producer of group was unshakable, but numerous letters of the fans, the requests of the organizers of performances have softened Eric and he has decided, that while "Hi-Fi" early to send " in a resignation ". And at the end of September was released a new clip on a song "the Silly People ", which will leave on a new disk of group... The history of "Hi-Fi" proceeds!
