Artist History
Jeff and Dan have known each other since they still wore Superman briefs. They originally met back in Boy Scouts, where they became quick friends thanks to their common love for the British band, XTC. Soon, they began creating. It all started with audio tapes of sci-fi parody, and led to the cult favorite cable access sketch comedy series, "Wayland Moore." During high school, Jeff and Dan both learned how to play the guitar. Soon enough, the inevitable happened. While in college, for the first time, they started writing GOOD SONGS. In the winter of 2001, they began playing together at coffeehouses with nothing but their voices and their acoustic guitars because of their severe lack of resources. They hope to get an opportunity to work with a full band to completely flesh out their ideal sound. But the search for a rhythm section goes on...UNTIL NOW! Welcome aboard Jeff Sinning (bass) and Jonathan Yowell (drums)! Stay tuned for news on this new-and-improved, four-piece incarnation of GLARE! |
