Artist History Eusebio Núñez Flores, known artistically as Anntony, is a teen that at a very early age has been dedicated to what is known as the art of singing. This young and talented artist born in Dominican Republic started in the world of music when he was only eight years old. His first presentation in public was made when he was selected to sing the main song of a theatrical play held in a club in the sector where he lived. From this day on the stages and the public was his north. He participated in various juvenile groups of the era and at the same time went maturing artistically, the expectations went growing, being selected from various merengue groups. But he thought his future wasn’t this and dedicated himself to improve as the days went on, taking classes of singing, music and performing. Later on with further knowledge and a grand artistic formation he begins to work in reputed bars and clubs of the high society in the capital of Dominican Republic. Although Anntony never wanted to join groups of merengue he had to give in to the request of a friend and enters to form part of the grouping of Kaki Vargas, brother of the popular merengue singer Sergio Vargas. After a period of exhaustion in the group he understands that he has complied with the friend and leaves the group of Kaki, once Anntony leaves the group a proposal comes to him that by respect could not reject and is the one of being the main singer of the orchestra of the famous master Sony Ovalle – well known for his interpretations and his charisma. Several record labels approached Anntony to record him now with his artistic conditions. Between these labels was A1A Productions, Inc. reaching a recording agreement where first is to make a production of bachata. Is in fact the same Anntony that has the idea to record the songs of those who are his idols, the famous rock group known worldwide as Maná.

Press Reviews When Anntony looks at you with those serious, evil eyes, you might find yourself as James Bond in a flick battling an ominous henchman. But when the music begins and Anntony's softly passionate voice works on tracks like 'Donde Jugaran Los Ninos', you realize you needn't be afraid.42 minutes into 10 songs equals a Latin dance party that could easily cover for a romantic wedding reception. Or street music for wandering lovers who haven't yet exchanged rings.The basic sound is Anntony, followed by what sounds like overdubs of himself on alternating backing vocals; guitar, spiked a little as if electric, but definitely an acoustic sound; at Least one set of rhythm hands, plus lite drum work; bass. And fill in the blank: you might hear more. Charming Latin music with a jazz combo construction.Love the way he opens most tracks with 'Annnnnnto-ny!' The thing that struck me the most when the opening 'Clavado en un Bar' began was How Clean This Stuff Sounds. Some artists whisper through a filter, some record a ways from the microphone, but there's a high polish on this cd that springs the acoustics to life and pitches Anntony's voice sharply at the ears.The only odd thing is: the arrangements to the songs stay pretty much the same throughout. Not that a horn section should suddenly creep in and blast away a perfectly intimate mood between Ann and listener. However, when you listen to 'Hundido en un Rincon' which ends the cd, you could just as easily be listening to part of the opening 'Clavado'. It's like catching a live studio session.
