Artist description Fior is a Montreal-based duo that specializes in Irish instrumental music. We play reels, jigs, hornpipes, and anything else we can get our hands on. We try to bring a bit of a Canadian slant to the time honoured tradition of the fiddle and guitar two piece.

Artist History When Nicholas Williams left to spend the summer on a farm outside of Montreal, it looked to us that there wouldn't be much to do with Garton's Crimson Avengers (the four piece band that we'd both been playing in since September) until the fall. Since idle hands do the devil's work, we thought it would be best to occupy ourselves the best way we could - by playing more tunes. David has been fiddling in Montreal for several years, playing a little bit with everyone and being one of the five members of the band MacFinn. Mike has been a member of the pub group 139 South for over a year now, and now is starting his third traditional band with David.
