Artist History
It was in the summer of 1997 that Mark, Matthew, Michael, and Christopher first engaged in their rock & roll antics. Five months later, the domo sound was discovered by Conan O'Brien and debuted on national television in front of an estimated two million viewers. In the fall of 1998 the band made their first recording with Alex Oana at Seedy Underbelly in Minneapolis, MN: an eight song e.p. aptly titled "this is our e.p."
Encouraged by sales and the lack of rioting, the domo sound headed back into the studio in the summer of 2000. This time they would track with Jeremy Ylvisaker at Soliton in Bloomington, MN and mix with Ed Ackerson and Ylvisaker at Flowers in Minneapolis, MN. In February 2001, the domo sound released their new album "Right Brain." The group continues to support their album by rocking Minneapolis and St. Paul and touring throughout the Midwest. It is their hope that someday they can learn to love again . . . |
