Artist description
This is the...unique music of Salmaster. The little group is composed of Will Seegers, the talented french horn/keyboard player, Josh Sarkar, the backup vocalist (in other words, he doesn't do much) and myself, Chris Chobotor, the guitar player and lead vocalist (although I prefer to create instrumentals, there are some songs with lyrics). I also have had the help of other people such as Ben Landis and James Dewey, who lend their voices. The music we make is mostly metal, but other genres have been explored, such as jazz, techno, industrial and gothic. |

Artist History
Salmaster began as a solo act featuring Chris Chobotor (known as Salmaster in some Internet circles) in early 2001. Originally, he was going to mix his own songs (he made Symphony of Samples alone) only relying on the help of Will Seegers and Josh Sarkar occasionally. After "Salmastic" was recorded, however, it was decided that this just couldn't be a solo act. With the lack of a better name, the band was just called "Salmaster". They have since been working on "The Salmaster LP", their debut album. |
