Artist description Studied Classical Guitar in College, also studied Jazz briefly with Charlie Byrd at that time. Recently studied with sitar/ surbahar master Jay Kishor. Played in rock, blues, jazz bands in college, formed my own band called "Percy's Little Hotbox around 1995, led the band until 1998. I continually draw on various inspirations, east and west, classic and new in my music, which is primarily vocal and song-based.

Musical Influences PJ Harvey, U2, Radiohead, Hindustani Music, Leonard Cohen, Beatles, Coltrane, Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix, Charlie Byrd, John Lee Hooker, the list goes on.
