    Artist description
Every generation needs a hero, a voice – an energetic image and a positive mental attitude. “American Metal” could well be the heroic musical stigma needed to personify America and lead new generations into the century to come. First, let’s discover the foundation of “American Metal,” Dave and Jim Boczy. Dave and Jim formed American Metal in early ’93, as the brothers realized the importance of their messages to America’s children. They felt it important that American youth embody “The Good Guy” and “The Great-Melting Pot-Working Together.” “It came together so naturally,” says Dave, “The songs come straight from personal experience, straight from the heart.” With these ideals in mind, American Metal is putting together a collection of songs and a positive image of and for the American People, which will be marketed nationally. Their package includes a very sound album and a comic book in which super heroes and ordinary people reenact the messages set in their songs. The music and following comic book have many positive messages and stories to tell as each song incorporates a different hero and theme. “Our project greatly defies today’s rock-n-roll industry as most material is written about sex and drugs,” says Jim. “We are giving American youth a clean heroic image for the future, regardless of race, color, or creed.” The brother’s musical influences include Led Zeppelin, Sabbath and earlier rock idols. Their music embodies the hard rock sound and image with a Christian Rock type of message. “We are all here to learn and help each other,” says Dave Boczy, “Our future really lies in the children. They are subjected to a lot of different things in today’s society. Music was a big influence on me when I was growing up.” “One of the songs is called “Ordinary People” and it is about the every day struggles of ordinary people and their struggle for happiness in their lives. It is about all people getting along together and helping each other,” Dave explains.

    Artist History
American Metal is a commercial rock band that started out in 1990 by two brothers from Homestead, Pennsylvania. Growing up in this old steel town these brothers seen this town in its economical heyday as well as in its downward plunge into commercial despair. Raised on the streets these brothers found themselves with very little opportunity and very little hope. Now with the new millennium there is a new dream that boasts a vibrant fever for all the youth as well as the latter generation of residents of the old steel town. With the new river front business there once again is a feeling of inspiration and forth a new prospect: powerful, committed, and secure for the United Stated of America. Thus we say {music has built a bridge} A beam of steel for all mankind to achieve. Lets all ride across the new millennium on the wheels of music.
