Artist History
Formed in Newcastle in the mid 90s, they built up a live reputation second to none, with shows involving ritual cream-cake sharing and the bassist dressed up as a tree. and put out 'Blunt Nails In A Sharp Wall' and other tape-only
albums to sell at gigs. After a while legendary frontman Tiny left with bassist Richard Green and one of the drummers to form Pop-A-Cat-A-Petal and move to East London. When Pop-A-Cat split Tiny and Richard recruited another Sleepy People drummer
to form Ultrasound. Sleepy People never stopped, they drew in more talent, released more albums and kept gigging. They currently
reside under the name Blue Apple Boy |

Press Reviews
Each track is diverse and unlike the one before or after it, except for that classic prog influence, as mentioned above....
...Once you accept this an being a bit off kilter, you see past this to find that this is really very good prog, meeting almost all the needs of neo-prog fans. You'll hear the influences, though there are mixed together enough to become its own entity in and of itself. An interesting disc.
