Artist History Formed as side project by Karen Anderson in 2000 for experimental music. The sound is experimental ambient, a "chiaroscuro" of music. She is accompanied on this sonic adventure by synth/bassist Don Falcone (Spaceship Eyes, Spirits Burning) in an improvis ed alchemy of live electronics, percussives & sensuous soundscapes. PsiClub's debut performance was on Jan. 6, 2001 in San Francisco.Currently, the project is adding finishing touches to their CD for future release. KAREN ANDERSON is a sound and multi-m e dia artist from the San Francisco/Bay Area. She came to the Bay Area in 1982 to attend college at San Francisco State University (B.A. Broadcasting, '87), and has since attended the graduate programs at Mills College in Electronic Music and SFSU Inter A rts. She has performed in such diverse places as San Francisco's The Lab, Noe Valley Ministry, Cafe de Nord, SF Institute of Art & Oakland's Pro Arts. She has also played on a number of CDs with such artists as Spaceship Eyes, Trap, Spirits Burning & Blue Lily Commission.n
