Artist History I started with a "Franus Bass guitar" at 15, after I saw Suzie Quatro on TV. At 16 I got a guitar, and wrote my 1'st song for a girl. I played in various bands. Sang because no one else did. My first Belgian succes was (1979) with "THE PANAMAS". We made a 45T, with a big hole in the middle, that was produced by "Jean-Marie Aerts" called "TO THE YEAH-YOH" & "NO USE". It contained similarities with THE JAMM. Around 1993 I was a member of the funk band "BOOTS". We won the "LOF FESTIVAL" in 1984 with a song I wrote. We recorded "I HATE BOWIE", that was released on a Compilation 33T LP. "BOOTS" also made it into the 1/2 finals of "HUMO's ROCK RALLY". Then I returned to do "ROCK for ROCK'S SAKE". In 1991 "THE VENUE", was broadcasted live on Belgian TV, being a finalist of "HIT'91". In 1992 we played life at MARKTROCK in Leuven. Later on "THE VICTIMS OF JOY" had a setlist of 1/2 covers, and 1/2 were my own songs. We played in smaller pubs again. I was a member in "MIDLIFE CRISIS" where I also sang lead. We recorded 12 songs to a Demo CD in 2 days: "TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG", With "THE LEUVINSKI AFFAIR", I played bass ..

Group Members Hano plays all the instruments, and sings. He wrote all the lyrics & the music. Hano recorded adn mixed everything - Hano also produced it.

Press Reviews I lost my press reviews over the years ... you might be familiar with leading a life with 3 kids in the house. They made drawings on all my papers & my wife threw them away in the trashcan. On it things like: "Very impressive debut". "Strong vocalist", "The perfect performance on this location", "the public went babanas when the singer took his clothes off"... That kind of stuff ...
