Artist History
When we first decided to get together in 1990 to play Klezmer music, we never dreamed that we would grow in both size and popularity to become one of the premier Klezmer groups in our area. This recording is part of our jouney of discovery as we learn and recreate the wonderful vibrant music of our heritage. We are truly a community band. We are all members of Temple Sinai of Newington, Connecticut, and Klezmer is our hobby, not our profession. Since part of our mission is to introduce Klezmer music to a wide audience, we play at many community events, such as Hartford's First Night celebration and at many ethnic music festivals. |
