Artist description
If you're into melody and stimulating lyrics,
I would like to introduce you to SpaceMonk.
An accomplished keyboardist, guitarist and vocalist,
SpaceMonk has been producing smart, catchy,
optimistic tunes since 0008.
He's also got some heavy stuff, too.
Very intense instrumental pieces and
some 'off the wall' experimental tracks.
SpaceMonk's latest CD, "Millennium Of Peace"
is a sonic trip through the universe.
For a strong voice & deep emotions,
I would suggest the music of SpaceMonk.
SpaceMonk is the voice of compassion & encouragement. |

Artist History
I was ordained SpaceMonk on 05_27_2001 AD.
I came to this Earth on Thanksgiving of the year 1,959 and lived as a
human being in the desert for 40 years studying & creating "sound".
~In the first decade I practiced illusions, karate, sculpting, writing & art.
I learned to perform.
~By the second decade I had landed on music. I utilized the
guitar, piano, drums and voice to compose, record and perform. Daily.
~The third decade found me combing the clubs
& bars playing for thrills and paying my bills. Working.
~For the fourth decade I composed as a hired
gun for radio, TV, and film. On the air.
~Entered the fifth decade entertaining world leaders as:
"JOHNNY ENGLISH". Gobs o' fun.
I am now the voice of encouragement & compassion.

We were looking for a miracle out of a tight spot about twelve years ago. Needed someone to save us on a Jingle project. This guy waks into the studio and basically just asks my partner and I what we wanted. We sort of thumbnailed a brief idea of a lyric and hummed a style and within about a half hour, he was playing excactly what we wanted and we were astonished. It was fantastic. He started on the keyboard and then went to the guitar, then added a bass line. In a few hours, he had assembled what we needed and did three of the four vocal parts besides. This guy was SpaceMonk and we have been using him on projects from the Golden Gate Transit Authority Jingle to Yoshinoya Beef Bowl restaurants...he can play anything and I think he smokes Elton John on the keyboard.... of course I am prejudice. He has an incredible grip on composing on the spot which is phenomenal and I have seen him Rock the house down at an imnpromptu concert at the Red Lion Inn at the Ontario Airport... He is by far the most multi-talented musician I have ever worked with; and it's always fast and easy with no problems... just great sounds.

I have always been a big fan of SpaceMonk, but the latest recording is the best yet. Always intresting lyrics, great melodies and killer harmonies. I can't wait till the next show. Their music is brilliant. ~Steve Goebel; Audio Director, Far Western District Barbershop Quartet & A Capella Society

SpaceMonk + Crew are probably the most versitile group of performers you will ever hear and see. I thouroughly enjoy their music and their shows. Their music gives me relief that melody and harmony still matter in modern day music.~ Larry Paschall
