    Artist History
Like a gnarly case of herpes, Petticoat Junkie has been around in one form or another for the past eight years. Through member changes and extended hiatuses, their lineups have consistently consisted (redundantly redundant) of singer and guitarist Sammy Davis Presley (aka Vince, but just humor the guy), and band mascot (and occasional guitarist, when he is not snowboarding…) Matt Adam. Rounding out the band is bassist and grouch Bill "Grampa" Blair (actually he is not, but he scares the groupies away); guitarist and Ace Frehley wannabe (and who would be?) Nick Alexander; chanteuse Mistyann Schram, and drummer and former model, Matt Entriken (or “Drummer Matt”)… *A bit of lame band trivia to note: Drummer Matt was in “Starship Troopers” and would be more than happy to personally sign a copy of the film for you. Oh yes, another bit of lame trivia: Matt Adam likes to sing to his dogs, but he DOES NOT caress their privates no matter what anyone says! Having produced a stellar four albums of pure, unadulterated, rock and roll, Petticoat Junkie is in the studio once again with a rocking load of new songs. Their latest release, ”Hey Jackass, That Sounds Cruel...”, hailed by critics, scumbags, and losers alike, is set to propel the band to national acclaim. Rewards and riches are just around the corner for these promising young lads. To quote a critic who would like to remain anonymous, “I love these guys, but don’t let that bastard near my dogs…”. Indeed, the masses may be asses, but Petticoat Junkie’s fans are nothing if loyal to the death. “Yeah, uh, they’re pretty good,”, says Bob, an alleged fan, “but why is that geek wearing KISS makeup?” At one show, a quadriplegic wheelchair ridden man was so moved, he actually stood up in protest when the band’s show had ended! “Awwgrhh”, said the man as generous helpings of saliva whipped off his chin, “Noooo!” Yes, even the Lord is on the side of Petticoat Junkie. Over the past few years, Petticoat Junkie has had the opportunity to play with such rawk immortals as Total Chaos, Marky Ramone, The Chicken Hawks, Zeke, Speedealer, and many, many more. From coast to coast, sea to shining sea, Petticoat Junkie continues to whip up losers, junkies, bums, kids (and paraplegics too!) with their brand of no holds barred ass-whooping rock and roll. With a sound that conjures the ghost of the Replacements, the spark of X, and the soul of Mojo Nixon, Petticoat Junkie is sure to bring their message of peace, love, and universal contempt to a town near you... All cheap, except for the drummer, cuz he was in Starship Troopers, and has all sorts of cash he is holding back from us.
    Press Reviews
Ummm, Joe Strummer liked the name. (No really, just ask Vince, er, I mean "Sammy Davis Presley", and he will tell you the whole boring story...)
