Artist History
OFN originated 4 and 1 half years ago in Upstate NY. After a year or two of learning how to play their instruments by playing Green Day covers, they started playing faster, heavier, and all around better punk. To this day they are probably best classified as a Political Punk Band (street punk). Their main influences and sound is probably most closely related to a combination of Anti-Flag, Good Riddance, The Unseen, and Rancid. OFN has played countless shows, included tons of shows at local venues, lots of Parties, Rennselaer Fest (’99, ’00), and Warped Tour ’00. OFN has released 2 DIY demos. One that includes Salute the Flag, and another, which was a split with another local band, Social Control. OFN is recording again soon. So look forward to a new demo or release. |
