Artist description
Jack was equally influenced by the theatrical elements of the Doors, the beat writers of the fifties, Salvador Dali, both the "bookish" New York and British 70's punk scenes and the postpunk rock of Jane's Addiction when he started writing. When the late 90s came along he was seduced by the pounding grooves coming out of the British drum and bass scene and Jonathon Davis' passionate and confessional vocal delivery. All those elements combined to form Jack's mature sound. His theory being that it is possible to fuse the confessional and honest portion of the blues with heavy grooves.honest |
