Artist description Winter Solstice is a melodic-metal-hardcore band based out of Lynchburg, VA. They've got one release out on Harvest Earth Records that can be found at a variety of places. They are one of the fastest growing metalcore bands out of Virginia and the rest of the east coast. If you havent caught them on any of their tours thus far, catch them this coming summer.

Press Reviews Now lets get to the good part. Originally with 6 bands playing the bill, 4 bands played the show that night. Opening was Winter Solstice. Everyone prior to the show couldn’t stop talking about them, how they’d never seen them live but loved what they had heard. Their words of praise couldn’t match the talent that opened this show. Blown away by the precision of their riffs and their hard-hitting drummer’s skill, I was in aw the whole set. Very impressive to say the very least, and a must see for future shows.
