Artist History
Been Rapping since the age of 13. Started off as a rap group called 12GaugeSouljahz in Providence, Rhode Island. Used to record on an old 4-Track (lots of static in the background of every song, levels screwed up beyond belief). After a while of members of the group getting arrested and giving up on getting noticed in the underground scene, I decided to keep going. Hooked up with producer Arthur "Archie" Johnson, recorded a couple of solos and some songs with the group members that were left. I began talking with DJShy1 and discovered digital production and Horrorcore. After Archie got arrested I decided to go fully solo. Started doing my own production, graphics, and recording. Worked with many groups from when I was 13 to now: 12GaugeSouljahz, Phalanx, DeviousDuo, Triple·T, Imperial Godz, Camoflage Kings, Demented Soulz, NewBreed, Deuce, Royal Flush, Korupted Angelz, The Armada, The Jury, and Immortal Killaz. Worked at a couple of hip-hop foundations: The Carriage House, and HipHop220. Went through many name changes until finally stuck with sakrifyce. The name sakrifyce came from one of my screen names on AOL I used to hack with. A lot of the music I release has been inspired by events in my life: Family, Marriage, GangLife, Army enlistment, the list goes on... I'm currently in Waterbury, CT working on my label Red Sky Produktion. I had UnderWorld Records a while ago until I found that 20 other companies had that title. That's about it... |
