Crank Like Frank's music is an eclectic style where blues is the boat and jazz is the horizon. They established their sound by developing a unique style of improvisational rock n' roll.Their diverse backgrounds and wide variety of musical influences has helped them create their own original style and approach to music, which gives them freedom to experiment in many different genres. Each member is dedicated to their instrument, and continues to study the art of music vigorously.Crank Like Frank is a six-piece band consisting of Joe Marlow (guitar/vocals), Jeff Servais (guitar/dobro/vocals), Dave Harder (electric and acoustic basses/vocals), Bob Marchman (keys), Matt Cahill (drums/banjo/vocals), and Ray Dunham (drums/mandolin/vocals). The two drummers really give the band a powerful sound, along with the two tight guitarists, the bounce of the bass, and the twinkle of the keys. |
