Musical Influences Smashing Pumpkins, Jeff Buckley, Pearl Jam

Artist History Co-star was formed in Gothenburg 1999, by childhood friends Johan Nihlén and Magnus Bergman. The band was partly re-formed when they moved to study at the University of Halmstad. During the fall of 2000, Johan meet fellow student Will who happened to be a drummer. Although they disagreed on which kind of music they should be playing, Will soon joined the band. When Jimmy joined Co-star a couple of weeks later, the band was complete. In April 2001 Co-star recorded a four track EP at the KEG House recording studio in Gothenburg. Two of these songs are available for download at mp3.com.
